Teaching Personnel are currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Worcester who are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their support team. This is a full-time role, supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping students reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering lessons across a range of subjects
- Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support learning
- Encourage student engagement and participation within lessons
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide additional support to students who may need extra guidance
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
- Support students’ academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing
- Build positive relationships with students and staff across the school
Requirements
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Confident supporting students within a secondary school setting
- A genuine passion for education and supporting student development
- Relevant qualifications or experience within education are beneficial but not essential
