Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a PE Teacher to work within a secondary school in Worcester on a full-time basis. The school is looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm and confidence into lessons and encourage students to get involved in sport and physical activity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PE across the school, planning lessons, and creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable taking part and developing their skills. You will be expected to maintain good behaviour standards, support students of different abilities, and help promote a healthy and active lifestyle. There may also be opportunities to support extracurricular activities, school fixtures, and sports clubs throughout the year. The school is keen to appoint someone who can work well as part of a team and contribute positively to the department.
Requirements- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills, particularly in practical lessons
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, energetic, and proactive approach to teaching
- Passion for sport, fitness, and supporting young people
- Deliver PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities
