I am currently working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Worcester that is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking to develop their career within a supportive and well‑resourced school environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare and assess high‑quality learning opportunities.
- Support students in developing practical, creative and problem‑solving skills.
- Contribute to the wider life of the department and school community.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
Qualifications and attributes
- Holds QTS (or is due to achieve QTS).
- Has strong subject knowledge within Design & Technology.
- Is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all students.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
- Has a positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
