A lovely, inclusive preschool setting in the BS8 area of Bristol is looking for a 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding role working closely with a child with special educational needs in a warm, nurturing environment. The setting has a supportive team who will guide you and help you develop in the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1-1 support to a child with SEN throughout the day
- Support learning through play, communication and early development activities
- Help the child engage with their peers and build social skills
- Encourage positive behaviour and create a calm, supportive environment
- Work closely with the class team and any external professionals involved in the child's care
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns promptly
