Early Years Practitioner / Teacher
Woking, Surrey | Full-time preferred, part-time considered
We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated qualified Early Years Practitioner or Early Years Teacher to join the team at a welcoming nursery linked to a well-established independent school in the Woking area.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about providing an outstanding start to children's education and creating a nurturing, stimulating and engaging learning environment.
The role
Ideally, we are looking for someone to work 5 days per week, although we would also be very happy to consider candidates seeking 3 days per week.
You will play an important role in the day-to-day life of the nursery, supporting children’s learning and development through purposeful play, high-quality interactions and engaging activities. You will work closely with colleagues and families to ensure every child feels happy, secure and encouraged to reach their full potential.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Early Years qualification or QTS/EYTS.
- Has experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting.
- Is warm, caring, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about working with young children.
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS and child development.
- Can plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Is confident working as part of a team while also taking responsibility for their own key children.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.

Salary:Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
