This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Humanities Teacher with a strong background in subjects such as
History, Geography, Religious Education or Social Sciences .
The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring students, developing their knowledge and encouraging them to think critically about the world around them.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for
- Planning and delivering engaging
Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4 .
- Teaching subjects within your specialist area, such as
History, Geography or RE .
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Differentiating lessons to support students with a range of abilities.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback.
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Developing students' critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the
Humanities department .
- Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
The school is looking for a teacher who
- Holds
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification .
- Has experience teaching within a secondary school environment .
- Has strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities subject.
- Can confidently deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
- Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Can motivate, challenge and support students of different abilities.
- Is adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic about teaching.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
