A well-regarded secondary school in Wimborne is looking to appoint a passionate Religious Education Teacher to join its successful Humanities department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring students to develop a genuine understanding of different religions, beliefs, and ethical perspectives.
You will teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate. Through engaging and thought-provoking lessons, you will encourage students to explore diverse worldviews, think critically about moral and philosophical issues, and develop the respect, empathy, and analytical skills that will support them throughout their lives.

- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).
- Strong organisational skills and classroom management skills.
- Able to plan and deliver structured and professional lessons.
- A strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education.

- Flexibility and adaptability within the classroom, tailoring the education to each student’s needs.
