About the Role
We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions and associated learning needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils throughout their educational journey. Working closely with teachers and the wider school team, you'll help create a positive learning environment where every pupil feels safe, supported, and valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with learning activities and personal care where required
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

Essential Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/Level 3 or above
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (paid or voluntary)
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Desirable
- Level 2 (or above) qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
- Knowledge or experience of SEN, SEMH, or ASD
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
