The Role
As a Trainee Primary Teacher, you will work closely with experienced staff, gradually building the skills and confidence needed to progress into teacher training. Key responsibilities may include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across Early Years, KS1, or KS2
- Delivering small group work and targeted interventions
- Assisting with phonics, literacy, and numeracy development
- Working alongside class teachers to support lesson delivery
- Leading parts of lessons as your confidence grows
- Supporting pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
- Gaining insight into planning, assessment, and classroom routines
