Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Classroom Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN secondary school in the Wigan area.
You will support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and behavioural challenges, helping them to engage in education and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Implement individual learning and behaviour support plans.
- Promote students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Build positive relationships and encourage independence.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff.
Requirements
