- We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated
- Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Secondary School in the
Wigan and Warrington area .
The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of the world around them.
We are currently recruiting for positions starting in

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to deliver Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and student wellbeing.
- Utilise innovative teaching strategies to encourage engagement and a love of Science.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, staff training, and wider school activities.
- A degree in Science or a related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification such as
PGCE, QTS, or equivalent .
- Previous experience teaching Science within a Secondary School setting is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding, continuous professional development, and high-quality teaching.
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.

National Teacher Pay Scale .
