Nursery Practitioner – Full & Part Time – Wigan Area. Immediate start.
Qualifications
- Recognised childcare qualification level 2, 3 or equivalent
- Practical experience in a nursery or Early Years setting
- Solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Experience supporting children with additional needs (ASD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH)
- Calm, nurturing and flexible approach
- Current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging activities supporting early development across all learning areas
- Provide tailored support to meet individual needs, including SEND provision
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Encourage positive interactions, independence and emotional development
- Maintain effective liaison with staff, parents and external professionals
- Support daily routines within the setting, including care and supervision
