Pay: Β£95 - Β£100 per day, paid weekly. (dependant on experience).

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a passionate and commited SEN Teaching Assistant for a Primary School based in Whickham focused on working with pupils who specifically require SEN and SEND support. This is a rewarding role with the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children living with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs in the classroom.
  • Assist the teacher with lesson delivery.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Passionate about assisting both teachers and pupils.
  • Promote care and proactiveness in classroom.

Requirements:

  • Experience working 1:1 with children with Autism or SEND.
  • Enhanced DBS or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Patient and supportive approach.
  • Have a nurturing and patient manor.
