Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Weymouth
Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Weymouth is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their fantastic team from September. This is a rewarding full-time opportunity where you'll primarily support pupils within Key Stage 1, working 1:1 with children who have additional needs, while also providing support within the school's well-established SEN Resource Base. The Role
- Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant

- Working primarily within Key Stage 1
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- Supporting children within the school's dedicated SEN unit/resource base when required
- Working alongside the class teacher, SENCO, and wider pastoral team
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
- Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

- Has previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Is patient, caring, and resilient
- Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is confident adapting learning to meet individual needs
- Is passionate about helping every child achieve their full potential
- Holds relevant childcare, education, or SEN experience (desirable)
