About the Role

One of our partner SEN schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and nurturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping young learners thrive in a positive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS activities
  • Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development
  • Observe and record pupils' progress, contributing to assessments where required
  • Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support children with additional needs, ensuring all pupils can access learning opportunities
  • Contribute to the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation

Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification)
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework
