We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Teaching Assistant to join the Nursery class within a welcoming Welsh-medium primary school. This role is perfect for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting young children during their early years of education and helping them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.
About the Role:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities for Nursery-aged children
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s learning through play, exploration, and structured activities
- Assist with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor learning, and transitions throughout the day
- Provide personal care where required, including supporting children with toileting, nappy changing, and toilet training in line with the school’s policies and procedures
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, language, and physical development
- Promote the use of the Welsh language throughout the school day (appropriate to your level of Welsh)
- Follow safeguarding and health policies
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher
