Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to work in schools across the Watford area on a full-time, long-term basis. These roles offer the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils with a wide range of additional needs across all age groups, from Early Years through to Post-16 settings.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Working with students across a variety of age ranges and educational settings
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and academic progress
  • Supporting pupils with needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • Experience working across different age groups is highly desirable
  • A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
