A friendly and community-focused primary school in Penketh is looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support learning across the school. This is a varied role where no two days are the same – you may be supporting whole-class learning, working with small groups, or providing additional support to individual pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
  • Assisting pupils with their learning across the curriculum
  • Helping to prepare resources and maintain a positive classroom environment
  • Supporting children of all abilities to stay engaged and motivated

Qualifications

  • Have previous experience working in a primary school
  • Be adaptable and comfortable to work across different year groups (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude
