SEN Teaching Assistant – SEMH & Behaviour Regulation

These schools require experienced professionals who understand SEMH needs and can remain calm, structured and effective in high-pressure environments.
The role
- Supporting pupils with SEMH and behaviour needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Using regulation led approaches to reduce escalation and support engagement
- Helping pupils build routines, emotional awareness and positive behaviour patterns
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Providing consistent support that reduces disruption and pressure on staff
Who we are looking for
- SEN Teaching Assistants with SEMH experience
- Behaviour or regulation specialists
- Staff from PRUs, ARPs, specialist schools or complex mainstream settings
- Professionals from youth work, care or residential backgrounds with strong behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
