- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
- 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in
- KS2 (Year 4) with
ADHD and behavioural needs .
This rewarding role will involve supporting the child within the classroom, while also providing regular opportunities throughout the day for brain breaks, emotional regulation, and activities that promote positive relationships, social skills, and emotional development.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the child is fully supported both academically and emotionally.
The ideal candidate will have
- Experience working with children with
- Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- this is essential.
- Previous experience supporting children with ADHD and/or behavioural needs.
- A patient, calm and nurturing approach, with excellent behaviour management skills.
- The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children.
- A
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
(or equivalent) is desirable.
- Experience does not have to be within a primary school.
