Teaching Personnel are recruiting a high-impact Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Wakefield primary schools. This role is ideal for individuals with a sporting, athletic, or coaching background who naturally bring authority, resilience, and strong leadership into the classroom.

You’ll work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, supporting them to:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support
  • Active supervision during breaks and lunchtimes
  • Engage in sports coaching or PE
  • Utilise skills in boxing, martial arts, or fitness training
  • Participate in youth work or mentoring
  • Make a genuine impact on pupils who need strong role models

Consistent, full-time work during term time with competitive daily pay. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
