Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with one of our secondary schools to recruit a creative and practical Design & Technology Teacher for a full-time, temporary role. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys hands-on learning and inspiring students to design, create, and problem-solve in a workshop and classroom setting.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
- Teach practical and theory elements such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, or CAD/CAM
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking
- Maintain a safe, well-managed, and inclusive learning environment
- Support the wider DT department as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
- Confident with practical classroom and workshop management
- Creative, organised, and enthusiastic about teaching
- Recent experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools
