Teaching Personnel are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary or secondary school in Uxbridge from September 2026. The successful candidate will work closely with an individual pupil on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support to help them access learning, build confidence, and develop positive relationships within school. - Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN:
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working within a school or educational setting
- A Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning (Level 3 desirable)
- Understanding of additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language difficulties
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
A supportive and experienced SEN team, excellent training and ongoing professional development, a welcoming and inclusive school community, strong leadership and pastoral support, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a pupil's progress and wellbeing are all part of this role. Long-term career development opportunities within education are also available. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although support can be provided with obtaining one if required.
