Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Unqualified Teachers and Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the Vale of Glamorgan from September 2026. We are partnering with a number of English-medium and Welsh-medium secondary schools seeking confident, reliable individuals to provide classroom cover throughout the new academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, teaching assistants, and anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
About the Role
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of secondary subjects.
- Supervise students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classrooms.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour effectively.
- Ensure pupils remain engaged and complete the work provided.
- Record attendance and report any concerns to school staff.
- Provide feedback to teachers following each lesson.
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.
We Are Looking For
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Confidence working with secondary-aged pupils.
- A professional, flexible, and reliable approach.
- Experience working with young people (preferred but not essential).
- Graduates and aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply.
