Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across South Wales. You do not need to be a qualified teacher – if you have the right skills, personality, and presence, we will support you to step into the role.
The Role:
Cover Supervisors are unqualified teachers who step in to deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Delivering pre-set work and ensuring pupils stay on task
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Providing feedback to teachers on lesson progress
- Supporting students’ learning in other classes when not covering lessons
This role is perfect for individuals from:
- Sports coaching or fitness instruction

- Performing arts, outdoor education, or activity leadership
