The Role
The school is seeking to appoint an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and dynamic team. Working under the direction of qualified teaching staff, the successful candidate will contribute to improving pupil attainment and supporting the social, emotional, and educational development of all learners. Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities, including:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging learning tasks

Person Specification
Essential:
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a team
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills (minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths or equivalent)
- Willingness to receive and act on feedback (full training will be provided)
- Demonstrates empathy, patience, and a consistently positive attitude
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with children in any capacity (e.g., nursery, holiday club, youth work)
- Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
