We are currently recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) at a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and emotionally.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting teachers in delivering adapted lessons to meet students' individual needs
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who require additional support
- Promoting a calm, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Helping students with their social skills, emotional regulation, and behavioural development
- Preparing classroom materials and assisting in lesson planning
- Encouraging independence and boosting student confidence
About the School:
- Supports learners aged 3-19 with a variety of ALN
- Small class sizes (typically no more than 10 students) with a high staff-to-student ratio
- Child-centred approach, combining sensory-based and practical learning strategies
- A nurturing and positive environment where every student's needs are prioritised

- Experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
