At TP Tutors, we are offering an exciting opportunity for passionate educators to deliver 1:1 tuition in Maths, English, or Science to primary and secondary pupils in your area. Whether you are a qualified teacher, teaching assistant, or experienced tutor, this role is perfect if you are looking to make a real impact on a young learner's progress.
- Plan and deliver tailored sessions focused on Maths, English or Science, adapted to each student's level and goals
- Provide face-to-face support in the pupil's home, a local library, or agreed community setting
- Work with students who may need extra help catching up or building confidence in core subjects
- Monitor progress, identify gaps in learning, and set achievable goals
- Keep students motivated and engaged with creative, supportive teaching
- Use positive behaviour strategies to ensure productive, focused sessions
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting
- Confident teaching Maths, English or Science at KS1-KS4 (depending on your specialism)
- Ability to tailor sessions to individual needs and learning styles
- Strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills
- Passion for helping pupils grow in confidence and ability
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply - we can assist)
- Right to work in the UK
