English Tutor – Help Students Build Confidence with TP Tutors! Supporting young people who are not able to access traditional education, for whatever reason, is central to what we do at TP Tutors. Our tutors work closely with learners in familiar environments such as their homes, care homes, schools or community spaces to deliver focused and compassionate tuition. The role: 1:1 face to face tutoring in homes, care homes, community spaces or schools Deliver 1 to 2 hour tuition sessions with pupils working below expected levels Traveling to different locations across the same day Liaising with teachers, carers, parents and Local Authorities to provide the best support for the pupil Provide session feedback on progress and engagement using our cloud based tracking platform You’ll need: Experience teaching Functional Skills English Level 1 and 2 and/or up to GCSE English using the UK National Curriculum Ability to motivate and engage learners of all backgrounds, especially SEMH learners Comfortable delivering sessions in community and residential settings Flexible availability for remote or face-to-face tutoring Teaching qualification (preferably with QTS) or equivalent experience We offer: Flexible hours to suit a busy schedule.
