About the Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Truro area from September.

Working within a mixed Key Stage 2 class, this is an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of a supportive school community, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting teaching and learning within a KS2 classroom
  • Working with small groups and individual pupils
  • Delivering intervention activities to support progress
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Helping create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
  • Who We're Looking For
  • Have experience working with primary-aged children
  • Are confident supporting learning within KS2
  • Are patient, proactive, and approachable
  • Enjoy helping children overcome barriers to learning
  • Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcomed but not essential. Experience and the right attitude are equally important.
