About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Truro area from September.
Working within a mixed Key Stage 2 class, this is an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of a supportive school community, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Supporting teaching and learning within a KS2 classroom
- Working with small groups and individual pupils
- Delivering intervention activities to support progress
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Helping create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Who We're Looking For
- Have experience working with primary-aged children
- Are confident supporting learning within KS2
- Are patient, proactive, and approachable
- Enjoy helping children overcome barriers to learning
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Have a positive, can-do attitude
- Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcomed but not essential. Experience and the right attitude are equally important.
