Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.

• Provide pastoral and emotional support where required.
• Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Experience working with children is essential.
• Experience can be from a variety of professional settings, including:
  • Sports coaching
  • Youth clubs
  • Tutoring
  • Holiday clubs
  • Mentoring programmes
  • Community‑based child support roles
• Experience must be professional and fully referenceable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
• No formal teaching assistant qualification is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
