Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.

- Provide pastoral and emotional support where required.
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
Requirements
- Experience working with children is essential.
- Experience can be from a variety of professional settings, including:
- Sports coaching
- Youth clubs
- Tutoring
- Holiday clubs
- Mentoring programmes
- Community‑based child support roles
- Experience must be professional and fully referenceable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
- No formal teaching assistant qualification is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
