Join Our English Department We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational English Teacher to join the English department of a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Totton, Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher looking to join a supportive school community where staff are encouraged to develop professionally and make a real difference to students' lives. The Role As an English Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Inspire students to develop a love of reading, writing and literature. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of students with a range of abilities. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement. Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and English department. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice. Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and personal development. We would love to hear from teachers who are: Passionate about English and committed to helping young people succeed. An excellent communicator with strong classroom management skills. Able to inspire, motivate and engage secondary-aged students. Committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
