Level 4 HLTA Teaching Assistant – Full Time (Rhondda Cynon Taf) £93 per day
Are you an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your career? One of our partner primary schools in Rhondda Cynon Taf is seeking a full-time Level 4 HLTA Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide high-quality support across the school.
About the Role:
- Support teaching and learning across the primary age range, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging lessons
- Lead whole-class learning activities in the absence of the teacher where required
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs (ALN)
- Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities to support pupil progress
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development within a nurturing classroom environment
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to pupil support plans
- Help promote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all learners
Who We’re Looking For:
- Hold a Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant teaching assistant qualification
- Have experience working within a primary school setting
- Be confident supporting learning across different year groups and abilities
- Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Be proactive, flexible, and passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
- Have experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs (desirable but not essential)
Requirements:
- Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
- Enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the Update Service)
- Two recent, relevant references (covering the past two years)
