A welcoming and supportive primary school in the L23 area of Liverpool is seeking a dedicated

Nursery Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with complex needs.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 12:15pm to 3:15pm (Part-time).

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 support for a child with complex needs within the classroom setting.

Foster a caring and inclusive environment and collaborate with teachers to support pupil progress.

Build positive relationships with pupils, families and the school team to promote well-being and inclusive practice.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Strong, proven experience supporting children with SEND, particularly those with complex needs.
  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and families to support pupil progress.
