Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to support children and young people aged 6-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in the Thetford area. This rewarding role is ideal for individuals who are committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. You'll work closely with teaching staff to provide both academic and emotional support in a specialist educational setting.
The Role
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a positive, supportive, and structured learning environment. You will help students develop essential life skills, regulate emotions, and engage positively with their education.
Key Responsibilities

- Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to supporting vulnerable learners.
- Has a positive outlook, good sense of humour, and strong character.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle, as travel may be required.
