Location: BL0, Ramsbottom

Start Date: After February Half Term, Monday 23rd February

Contract: Until the end of the academic year, potentially permanent

Pay rate: £13.75 per hour

Hours:

  • Monday: 9:00am–2:30pm
  • Tuesday: 9:00am–3:30pm
  • Wednesday: 9:00am–3:30pm
  • Thursday: 9:00am–3:30pm
  • Friday: 9:00am–2:30pm

We are pleased to be advertising this vacancy on behalf of a lovely primary school in the BL0 area. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class from 23rd February until the end of the academic year, potentially being extended further onto a contract.

About the Role

  • Supporting children within a Year 4 class, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis when required
  • Assisting with classroom activities, behaviour management, and learning interventions
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff
  • Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • A proactive, supportive, and nurturing approach
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
