Primary School, BS8 - September Start

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide speech and language support at a friendly and welcoming primary school in BS8 from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children with communication needs.

No qualifications or school experience needed.

Just bring your enthusiasm and we will provide the training.

The role

  • Supporting pupils with speech and language needs in the classroom alongside the class teacher
  • Working one to one or in small groups with children who need extra help with their communication skills
  • Helping children build confidence in speaking, listening and understanding
  • Using visual aids, games and activities to support language development
  • Building positive relationships and encouraging progress
  • Preparing resources and assisting with classroom activities

What we are looking for

  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliability and commitment
  • An enhanced DBS check (we can help you apply for this if you do not have one)

Experience that could be useful
