We are looking for driven, passionate and qualified Teaching Assistants to join one of our Specialist SEN secondary schools in the Bolton area where you will make a positive impact by supporting young people with complex needs, Autism, ADHD, non-verbal and behavioural challenges.
Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging and nurturing learning environment
- Provide 1:1 support or small group sessions to aid students with their academic, emotional and communication needs
- Support in behaviour management and de-escalation
- Encourage pupils with their engagement and confidence
- Work to support students in accordance to their EHCP
- Adapt activities to best suit individual children’s needs when required
