We are working with a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across the M20 area of Manchester who are looking to appoint enthusiastic Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for September starts. Whether you’ve worked as a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Care Worker, Sports Coach or Behaviour Mentor, we’d love to hear from you!

The Role

You’ll be supporting students across mainstream secondary schools, working flexibly across different year groups and adapting to the needs of each classroom. Duties may include:

  • Supporting students in class across KS3
  • Providing one-to-one and small group interventions
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning
  • Building positive relationships with students and staff
  • Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and resources
