About the Role:

We are recruiting a compassionate, resilient and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support primary children who face barriers to learning due to social, emotional, or behavioural needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support with complex needs that are unable to attend school in a mainstream setting
  • Support behaviour management and emotional regulation techniques
  • Assist with personalised learning plans and promote engagement
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Who can apply?

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in working with individuals in SEN, youth work, care or mental health
  • Be passionate and determined to make a difference in supporting children’s needs

Requirements:

Teaching Personnel provide guidance and support for obtaining the following:

  • Education Workforce (EWC) Registration
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • References covering two years of employment
