Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicate d Teaching Assistant to join our Secondary Schools around Darlington and neighbouring areas. This is a great opportunity for those fresh out of university and ready to begin their career in education, or for those who are experienced in support and ready for a different adventure!
About the role :
- Supporting students in ages ranging from 11-16 within the classroom
- Assisting the teachers with behaviour support
- Helping students stay focused and engaged
- Working with small groups of students, or 1-1
Who we’re looking fo r:
- Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
- Enthusiasm for education and helping pupils develop
- Excellent patience and communication skills
