Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicate d Teaching Assistant to join our Secondary Schools around Darlington and neighbouring areas. This is a great opportunity for those fresh out of university and ready to begin their career in education, or for those who are experienced in support and ready for a different adventure!

About the role :

  • Supporting students in ages ranging from 11-16 within the classroom
  • Assisting the teachers with behaviour support
  • Helping students stay focused and engaged
  • Working with small groups of students, or 1-1

Who we’re looking fo r:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
  • Enthusiasm for education and helping pupils develop
  • Excellent patience and communication skills
