Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Sale

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Sale is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to appoint a caring, proactive, and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from February.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning, helping to create a positive and stimulating environments for all pupils. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing one‑to‑one and small group support
  • Assisting with lesson preparation, delivery, and follow‑up tasks
  • Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom
  • Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND and EAL
  • Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to effective classroom management
  • Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for supporting learning
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable
