Teaching Personnel are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner primary schools on a full-time, temporary basis. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education, enjoys working as part of a team, and brings a positive, proactive approach to the classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom preparation
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning or emotional needs
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in line with school policies

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Caring, patient, and enthusiastic in your approach
  • Committed to supporting children and young people
  • A confident communicator who works well within a team
  • Holds GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above), or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
