Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary and middle schools in and around Lyme Regis who are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of settings. Opportunities are available for both longer-term placements and ad hoc / day-to-day roles, offering flexibility to suit your availability. This role is ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety, are passionate about supporting children, and are happy to commute to nearby schools when required.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience welcome)
  • Is confident supporting pupils in the classroom, small groups or 1:1
  • Is happy to support across primary and middle school settings
  • Can drive (preferred) to travel to local schools
  • Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply through Teaching Personnel
  • Brings a positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning
