Teaching Assistant – Wareham & Surrounding Areas
SEN Experience Preferred | Long-Term & Ad Hoc Roles | Paid to Scale
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive schools in and around Wareham who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams. We have a variety of opportunities available, including longer-term placements and flexible ad hoc roles , offering work to suit a range of availability.
This role is ideal for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting pupils—particularly those with SEN needs —and who are happy to travel to local schools when required.
Position Details:
- Role: Teaching Assistant
- Location: Wareham and surrounding areas
- Start Date: Immediate and ongoing
- Contract: Long-term placements and ad hoc supply
- Pay: Paid to scale , paid weekly via PAYE
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children, with SEN experience preferred
- Is confident supporting pupils in class, small groups or 1:1
- Is flexible and adaptable to different school environments
- Is happy to drive / travel to local schools (preferred)
- Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply through Teaching Personnel
- Brings a patient, proactive and positive approach to learning support
