Teaching Assistant required for an outstanding special school located in Yeovil, Somerset. We cater to students with a range of complex learning difficulties, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. Our dedicated staff team works collaboratively to create a supportive, engaging, and inspiring learning experience for our students.
The Role
- Support students in their learning and development, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities that meet individual needs.
- Work closely with other professionals, including therapists and support staff, to implement strategies that promote student progress.
- Provide personal care and support where necessary.
- Encourage communication, independence, and confidence in students.
- Support students on a 1:1 basis where required.
What We’re Looking For
