Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) – SEN School (Primary & Secondary)

Location: Andover
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £13.75 per hour

We are looking for dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a specialist SEN school in Andover, supporting primary and secondary aged pupils with a range of needs including autism, learning difficulties, and associated additional needs.

This is a rewarding role within a nurturing and structured school environment, where pupils are supported through personalised learning approaches to help them achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups across primary and secondary age ranges
  • Assisting with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs
  • Supporting communication, sensory regulation, and emotional development
  • Encouraging independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

About You:

  • Experience in a SEN setting is helpful but not essential
  • An interest in supporting children and young people with autism and learning difficulties
  • A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in education, care, support work, or similar roles is advantageous
