Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Harrogate Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.85 – £15.00 per hour Job Duties: Support classroom teachers in delivering educational activities Assist with preparing teaching materials and resources Provide one-on-one support to students as needed Supervise students during lessons and other activities Help maintain a safe and orderly learning environment Required Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications) Experience working with children or young people Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications) Experience: Experience working with children or young people Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of classroom dynamics Basic knowledge of educational principles Effective communication and listening skills Organisational and time-management abilities Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work in a classroom setting within a school environment Full-time hours with potential for occasional overtime May require standing or walking for extended periods Interacting with students, teachers, and parents on a daily basis All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
