Primary Teaching Assistants – Full-Time & Part-Time Roles

Location: Maidstone and surrounding areas

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Short-term, long-term & temp-to-perm opportunities

Daily Rate: £90–£105 (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated Primary and SEND Teaching Assistants for full-time and part-time roles starting ASAP across a variety of mainstream primary schools in the Maidstone area.

While most roles will be class-based, you may occasionally be asked to work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who experience additional learning needs - such as autism, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties, providing them with the focused support they need to thrive.

What we’re looking for:

  • Individuals with previous classroom experience, or experience working with children in any capacity (schools, summer/youth clubs, nurseries, tutoring, etc.)
  • Graduates considering a career in education - an ideal opportunity to build experience before teacher training
  • Patient, flexible, and enthusiastic personalities ready to make a positive impact in a child’s learning journey
  • A willingness to support all aspects of school life and collaborate with teaching staff
  • Experience personally or professionally with SEND is not essential but beneficial.
