Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teacher of Design Technology / Engineering for one of our partner secondary schools. This role involves teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4, with a particular emphasis on Engineering and Product Design. The successful candidate will ideally have in-depth knowledge of KS4 Engineering courses, including BTEC Tech and/or Cambridge Nationals, and the ability to deliver engaging, practical lessons that prepare students for success.

The school has a strong community ethos and is looking for a teacher who can inspire pupils through hands-on learning, problem-solving, and creativity. Behaviour can be challenging at times, but staff are well supported by clear systems and collaborative leadership, making this a rewarding opportunity for the right candidate.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Design Technology, specialising in Engineering and Product Design.

  • Teach KS4 courses including BTEC Tech and/or Cambridge Nationals in Engineering.

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
